Toque macaques can live up to 35 years. This female is part of troop 22D and has been named Wonda (by the Smithsonian Research station). She has a deep red face that females develop with age (males develop facial spotting) and is 20 years old. She also has a damaged nose, probably from a fight with another troop or members of her own group. Archaeological reserve, Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka. IUCN Red List Classification: Endangered
