In the Cornish village of Ponsanooth lies a small valley called Kennel Vale. It's wooded banks stand over a series of ruined mill buildings, remnants of a once prosperous gun powder works. Although explosions took their toll on the factories it was the invention of gelignite and dynamite that proved to be the downfall of this industry.
